I'm getting very excited now! BUT. TELL ME. How in the hell do I pay for stuff? Do I exchange my money before I come over and just use cash? Or does eftpos work in Hong Kong?

8D So close! AHHHH!!!
Exchange some cash before you come over (I suggest between $300-$400 AUD into Hong Kong Dollars and $300-$400 for Japanese Yen too).
Also bring over an EFTPOS card, just in case you need more than that. EFTPOS and Debit cards that work overseas have a Cirrus, Mastercard or Visa logo on them (Those are the main ones that I know of).
It costs quite a bit to withdraw over here so best to do it as little as possible, take out as much as you need all at once :D
